Meet the Founders
Visionary. Enabler. Quiet Force of Change.
Rashi Soni - Founder
Rashi Soni didn’t just build a brand — she built a bridge.
From artisan clusters across India to the wardrobes of conscious consumers, Rashi has redefined what it means to empower through design. With a deep respect for craft and a strong belief in the potential of artisan communities, she has focused on creating pathways where skill meets opportunity.
Her work began in the narrow lanes of Vallabhpar — teaching, listening, and co-creating with women who had skills but no stage. Today, through Rudhvay, Rashi continues to ensure that every product tells two stories: one of heritage, and one of hope.
“I didn’t want to just sell handmade pieces.
I wanted to make the hands behind them feel seen.”
Strategist. Systems Builder. Purpose-Driven Entrepreneur.
Shaun Motashaw - Co-Founder
Shaun brings to Rudhvay a strong balance of business strategy and on-ground understanding. With a background in brand building and long-term ecosystem development, he co-founded Rudhvay with the intent to create not just products, but sustainable, purpose-driven systems.
From navigating early operational challenges to building ethical supply chains and market pathways, Shaun’s focus has been on making conscious craft commercially viable — without compromising on fairness, transparency, or integrity.
“Real luxury lies in knowing where your product came from — and who it changed along the way.”
Mentor . Pillar of Purpose . Managing Trustee MSST
Sonal Soni
Sonal Soni represents continuity — where heritage meets responsibility.
Deeply associated with the values of Shree Maganbhai Soni Smarak Trust (MSST), Sonal has spent years working at the grassroots level to strengthen education, skill development, and self-reliance among women. Her approach is quiet yet firm — rooted in the belief that empowerment is built through consistency, not intervention.
As a guiding force behind Rudhvay’s foundation, Sonal ensures that every initiative stays true to its core: dignity of labour, ethical growth, and long-term impact. She stands for generational knowledge — passed down, protected, and purposefully evolved.
Her presence anchors Rudhvay in its deeper mission:
to build systems that last beyond individuals and trends.
Together, they built Rudhvay
With Rashi’s eye for craft, Shaun’s mind for scale, and Sonal’s grounding in legacy and purpose, Rudhvay was born as more than a business — it became a movement. One that connects the artisans of India with the hearts of the world, weaving together heritage, sustainability, and deep-rooted human connection.
